When you call a company to come out to provide emergency repairs to your home or business, how do you know they’re competent to provide those services? Over the years, I’ve heard horror stories about people hiring the wrong people to do the restoration work. That’s why I’m glad that we have SERVPRO^® of St. Clair Shores here to serve the residential and business community of Eastpointe. All of SERVPRO technicians are required to undergo initial and continuous training and education classes to stay current with industry standards as established by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). All technicians and staff have access to ongoing web-based training through e-learning courses.

Initial Franchise Training

The SERVPRO training program is a 15-day intensive course that takes place at the SERVPRO Corporate Training Facility that covers fire and water restoration, carpet and upholstery cleaning and mold mitigation.

Employee Certification Training

This self-paced program allows employees to become certified after the successful completion of course materials and passing an exam for:

• Crew Training
• Fire Restoration
• Water Restoration
• Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
